Detroit Lions- They should not be focused on winning this year and just worry about player development. Although a win or 2 this year would make the fans a little bit happier. I am pist that I am a viking fan but at least I don't have to worry about being a Lion fan. 3 - 13
Bears- This team has some upside to winning the division this year. Forte had a strong season and the addition of Cutler should improve the team. Not to many known receivers to throw the ball to although the tight end position is strong. Defensively the team is gettiing older, but Urlacher is coming in feeling good for the first time in a few years. 10 - 6
Packers- An explosive offensive team and should be great this year. Defensively they turn to a 3- 4. No pass rush last year and run defense was terrrible. Two defensive first round picks in Raji and Mathews. They will need to make big contributions if they want to contend. 8 - 8
Vikings- Same old story for them. No quarterback and hoping for a miracle in Jackson to finally grasp the offense, if not its Sage Rosenfelds. Running will not be a problem and Percy Harvin will need to make a big contribution. Not many rookie wideouts excel in their first year. Special teams mainly in kick and punt coverage cost this team a game or two every year. Vikes easily have the best defense in the divisiion.
11-5.
All these teams seem to benefit from having a schedule that is suppose to be weak on paper. They play the Lions twice but they do play Baltimore and Pittsburgh. I am giving the Vikings the edge just because they have the best running back and better defense than Green Bay and Chicago. If they can get good quarterback play the sky is the limit:mj07: On the other hand the Bears are not too far behind and Cutler may make all the difference in the world. Green Bay is relying on the defense to make a drastic improvement and if that happens they will be the winner.. I just don't see it happening.
