Where it is real F ing COLD
Lets start of with Green Bay -3 hosting the Seahawks Sunday

I can't figure out the line.. It doesn't make sense and yet it does make sense. It makes sens because it is probably an even game on a neutral field. What doesn't make sense as this was the line last year when the Packers drubbed the Seahwaks. The Seahawks made like 5 turnovers in the game and the onslaught was on. I can't see Seattle moving it on the ground unless it is Wilson running but I can see them throwing the ball. Green Bay should be explosive on offense this season with a suspect defense. My train of thought is how can anyone bet against Green Bay on home opener? Yet Seattle is a team that scares ya. Not much insight as far as a gambling perspective. It's Green Bay or nothing and for me it's nothing. Packer 27 - 23?

Bears vs Falcons - 7

Falcons is the only way to go in this one IMO so that means take the Bears. I mean Glennon and Co against the Super Bowl runner ups but I think there is a trend that bucks the Super Bowl runner up week 1.. Also nice job schedule makers putting them on the road in Chicago to start the season. I guess if you are Atlanta that would be one roadie I would favor the start the season. Screw the trends, Atlanta's defense should be improved based on how many young guys they had last season. Going with the Falcons 31 - 17

Lions vs Arizona -1

Stafford just inked a new deal and the Lions appear to be improving but Arizona has to be very focused after last year's disappointing season. For me the Cardinals just have more fire power at WR and RB. I hate to pick against the Lions week 1 but I'll take the Cardinals chance at better running game.

23 - 17 Cards

Lastly the Vikes - 3.5 vs Saints

How the hell do you pick this game? AP back in town to face former club, Brees is always explosive but what kind of line does he have. I know the Vikings Right side of the line really really sucks so will they be able to run the ball and pass protect. I expect the Vikings to have the better defense and probably the better running game but I wouldn't touch this with a 10 foot pole.

Vikes 24 - 20 (Homer Call)

A few thoughts.

Neither Green Bay or Seattle are likely to be able to the ball well, so it's up to the quarterbacks. Green Bay will still have a horrific defense but not sure Wilson is good enough to hang enough points to win. Rogers didn't play well early last season and may struggle here too.

In the Minnesota game, this might be first one to 20, wins. New Orleans is missing their #2 receiver to suspension and the Vikings really struggle to score points. AP is likely
To be a shadow of the runner he was and the Vikings are hopping Cook can take over as a rookie.

what do you think about the Pack? Following week they go into Atlanta which will be tough. They lose to Seattle and 0-2 is staring at them. one more tidbit. wasnt last years game played in some weather conditions that Wilson wanted no.part of?

You know me, I'm a cautious and (hopefully) realistic fan. I'm hoping to squeak by with a week one win. Beating Atlanta will be a LONG shot. I expect the division to come down to wire this year.

Maybe you and I will meet up on 12/23 in Lambeau for a big game!

Cant believe the Vikes cut Boone. But the fans are happy he wasnt well like cause of his shitty play and big yapper. Kudos to the Vikes for not keeping a guy cause he was a name with guaranterd money
