Prez, Fantasy Football Question. Do you think the Jets D or Chicago D will have the bigger impact on the outcome of the game? Also, do you see Chicago throwing the ball a lot on Monday? Thank you.

Johnny I don't follow fantasy so I can't speak specifically to your questions from a fantasy angle. The reality is that the jets D is hit or miss. When they play well the team has a chance to win but they can also implode like they have a few times this year and let up big points. The jets need the D to play well to carry their feeble offense. That said I think they do today because I think the jets win the game.

Chicago's D has a few key injuries right now. Also I'd put more stock in the chances that Dallas has a prolific offensive output vs the chances that Oakland does, on the road across country in a 1 pm eastern start time. So I'd lean towards the jets D on that one having a bigger impact. Also the jets total is 9 points lower than the bears total so defense in general is expected to be more of a factor in NY. Plus the offenses in the Jet game aren't as good as the bear/cowboy game.

I do think the bears will be throwing the ball a lot on Monday. They have gone for over 300 yards passing in 3 out if their last 4 games. The bears are ranked 7th in home passing vs Dallas ranked 30th road passing defense.

Your record this year is as good as any I've seen in many many years.

Thank you. And continued success.

Great job prez, although i think the record might be a little misleading only because some of those plays were ML plays.
Continued success nonetheless.

Doubleornothing that's entirely possible. However all money line plays were on favorites of -2.5 or less. Most often it's been on faves of -1 or -1.5 but never greater than -2.5. If I recall its only mattered once when the chiefs beat the cowboys in week 2 or 3 by a point and I was sure happy I bought it down that time. Either way it's all good and best of luck to you as well. I always like to buy a +2.5 to a +3 for a dog and I don't play any favorite favored by more than -3. Games are so close in the NFL I prefer the added security without adding too much more to the juice. But I won't pay more than say (-140) for a moneyline. After that I'll just play the -3 and that's as high as I'll go playing a favorite.

So you're not wrong that i play some moneylines, but its always close to the spread. Just thought I'd point that out to ya :0008

I don't understand why that's misleading. A win is a win right? Record is still impressive regardless if there are money lines in their in my opinion.

zmk, Big difference between picking ml versus spread, difficulty level grows exponentially not to mention the payout being reduced exponentially.
