I already have the Texans -2 on the end of a $1,000 teaser so my play tonight is purely made based on the fact that I'm trying to hit a very nice middle opp.

My play:

Two team 7 point teaser - New York Jets +17 and over 33 - $260/$200

Like I said, I'm only making this bet for the 15 point middle opp that I have between tickets. Granted both teams can score more than a total of 33 points, of course. That's my disclaimer!

As always, let's get it! :0074

It's somewhat semantics but you do not technically have a "middle" here. A true middle means that by making the bet you are guaranteeing that you can't lose both bets, but right now you have no protection if the game goes under 33. And in fact if the final ends up being 14-13 (regardless of who wins) you have the exact opposite of a middle (a situation I like to call "The Golden Dicking).

To be clear, I don't think your play is bad at all, it's just not a middle - it's gambling; but hey that's what we do here right?

GL to you tonight and I hope you hit both!

Not to be taken the wrong way, but I do know what the definition of a middle opp is.

This is why I said this in my original post:

The disclaimer that I put on my pick was intended for my hypothetical middle opp, not a literal one.

Now let's it! :0074

This:

My plays:

6 team 7 point teaser - Washington +10, NYG -1, Seattle/Carolina under 50, Chicago/JAX under 47.5, Buffalo/San Francisco under 52, Houston -2 - $200/$1000

Plus this:

I already have the Texans -2 on the end of a $1,000 teaser so my play tonight is purely made based on the fact that I'm trying to hit a very nice middle opp.

I hit the middle opp and hit both tickets very nicely!

26-14 +$2,835 for the season :0074
