You need to tell the story about getting off the Oilers against the Cowboys when you were there sitting next to Gerry Cooney on a Monday night. If you still remember that one.
LOL .....I told that story about 10 years ago on another forum so you must be a longtime ago reader of my posts...I'm on my phone and it would be too hard for me to type that whole story but when I get home later tonight and get on my puter I'll be glad to tell that story again.... Ali was going to fight Cooney is how long ago that story is about.... LOL

Any time you lose you mention a nominal bet and when you win you crushed the bookies. Just put unit amounts if you're gonna dismiss losers after the fact.
Yes, I am longtime reader. You helped me win a ton of loot in baseball for a couple of years. I tried to send you some Dreamland ribs as a thank you, but you refused. It was on another site and over 10 years ago.

I used to try to write at least one story a week about the OLD DAYS and that story is about the OLD DAYS ill give you a short version since you asked....
I was at the Astro Dome to watch the Monday Night game between Houston Oilers and Dallas and had bet a Dime on Houston Plus 13 which at that time was a huge line. I get there real early in time to watch them warm up and Houston comes onto the field in a big mob and proceeds to do jumping jacks and that kind of warm up excerises and then the music plays and the Dallas Cowboys come running into the Stadium in single file down the side lines all in complete unison as they are running. as they get to a certain yard line about 10 or 15 guys peel off run down that side line still in perfect union and line up and start doing these weird ass excercises all in harmony.Like a Ballet. The Houston QBs are tossing the ball to thier recivers but the Dallas QBs have their recievers with two guys covering them run long pass plays and soon as the recievers catch the ball the two guys knock the snot out them. Well after watching all this crap I knew my 13 points was no good...LOL
Back then you couldn't have a phone in a NFL Stadium..it was a way to deter gambling and the law and of course this was long before cell phones so I run half a mile across the street to the nearest bar and call THE FAT MAN and tell him I want to bet 2 dimes the other way on Dallas and he wants to know what the hells going on I tell him what I saw and decide to heck with 2 dimes I want 4 dimes on Dallas-13.
The Half time score was like Dallas 35 to 6 and they went on to blow out Houston. THE FAT MAN laid off all his action on Dallas which was a hell od a lot and held all his Houston action and ended up making well over 20 dimes himself so he being the generous ass hole he was he dismissed my bet on Houston and didn't charge me any juice. LOL
The longer version was a lot better but.....be sure to go play Baskets with me this year Count and nice to hear from an old friend and as always..

Good stuff Buddy. I'll com see your hoops plays, not a huge fan of basketball, but if it is paying then hell yes.
