lately i have skipped playing the thanksgiving games but i think this game sets up well for the boys who are coming off 2 lackluster games in which they scored a total of 14 points combined....while oakland upset cin. last week....
outside of the wash. game last week,these are the points that dallas scored at home this year....31 against the giants, 21 against carolina, 37 vs. atlants, & 38 against seattle....
on the road this year, oakland averages a little over 10 ppg, averages 2.7 ypc, completes a little over 44% of their passes, & averages 159 total yds. per game....while on defense they allow about 27 ppg, allows about 145 yds. rushing at 4.4ypc, & close to 62% completion....i think oakland is what the doctor ordered for dallas to get out of their malaise....
and no....bruce gradkowski is not the answer at qb, otherwise he would still be at tampa....
as mentioned, oakland is coming off a big upset of cin. last week....a few weeks ago after they upset phil., oakland lost at home to the powerful jets 38-0....
since 1992, dallas is 15-3 ats in home games vs. awful passing teams averaging 5.2 or less passing yards/att....the average score was dallas 25.8, opponent 8.4....
over the last 2 seasons,oakland is 0-6 ats after covering the spread in 2 out of their last 3 games....the average score was oakland 9.5, opponent 26.8....
on national tv & in front of their home fans i see dallas winning this game by 3tds....
