not crazy about laying this many points but we have a team (buffalo) that is out of the playoff hunt against a team (jets) that is in a 3 way tie for 1st place in the afc east.....
because of balt's win on sunday, the bills were officially eliminated from the playoffs.....& after a very good 5-1 start buff. was hit hard by the injuries on defense that forced them to continuously shuffle their defensive people around....also their best pass rusher is likely out for the season....& for the year the bill's defense has 22 sacks & 7 ints in 13 games...but it?s not just the defense that has problems, their offense is also in shambles...they lost their playmaking te as a 2nd option in the passing game, which means that teams can now double up on their wr evans....in addition, because of injuries to their starting qb, buff. has been forced to play the under-confident lossman at the qb position....as a result of all of this buffalo is 1-6 ats/su in their last 7 games & has managed a total of just 6 points in their last 2 games....& are averaging <10 ppg in 5 of their last 7 games....
because they are out of the playoff picture, & the jets are fighting for 1st place, i think it will be hard for the bills to match the jets intensity as ny is looking to snap a 2 game losing streak of their own, which imo was the result of just being flat.....they lost to denver after upsetting tenn....& then had to travel to the dreaded west coast & was a no-show against sf.....even with the 2 game losing streak, the jets are averaging 28.6 ppg over the last 7 games.....

the jets are 8-1 ats at home vs. divison opponents after being upset the week before....
the jets are 8-2 ats off a dd loss since 2006....
buffalo is 1-15 ats after hosting miami since 1992......
buffalo 2-20 ats after playing miami since 1997....
buffalo is 0-6 ats when playing against a team with a winning record in the second half of the season over the last 2 seasons.....
i think the jets will control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball & beat a dispirited team by double digits.....
