I'm going to just keep watching college ball and kids who love the game


I never thought I'd say it, but I'm done with the NFL ...

Cam Newton is a prime reason...such a whiny crybaby league anymore....and he's supposed to be the face of the league....and embrace the accolades he gets....he's a joke....

I'd rather pay money to go watch the ballet w/my ex wife while dipping my sack in vinegar, then pay to watch cam Newton....

And when it's not about getting "tackled to hard", all we show/discuss is civil rights and talk about Colin kapernick.

This young generation sucks...and I'm a 30 yr old so I guess I'm the black sheep for thinking so, but if I was the team owner, I'd start Derek Anderson and Blaine Gabbert every game and make cam/Colin clean the shitters after games so they learn what real hard living is

They literally dance and celebrate after each catch and tackle....they all want parades when it's good but can't sit for a interview after a loss? Fuck them.

Hopefully prescott/wentz/bortles all have watched and learned....

I've said a lot of the same stuff, both here and other places.

I've said for years, the NFL is a terrible product...but they've got so much history. If it wasn't for fantasy and betting, I'd be done except for the playoffs. And most of my bets are college.

I'm way past sick of watching the guys that play. I'm way past sick of watching extra point, commercials, kickoff, commercials, come back and pan around the stadium while presenting ads. I can't even see a cheerleader b/c there's a logo in front of her. Its just too much. No flow to games.

I remember watching Super Bowl back in the late 80's...so many commercials and no flow to the game. They gradually got all games to resemble those Super Bowls. I saw it coming a mile away. Its awful. I've got Red Zone....8 games and sometimes they are all at commercial.

I could go on and on but yeah I totally agree. Tired of watching these low life thugs that have ruined a game I once loved. The college game has its faults too. I despise instant replay. In theory its great, but in practice its terrible. Its not fair so I just wish they'd take it out. The Baylor/Texas game was painful to watch. These games take 4-5 hours to play.

I still do enjoy college football for the most part though. I feel like at the rate its going, I'll soon only wanna watch Ivy League and maybe Army and Navy. Ivy League has no instant replay too

I think my rant was longer than yours haha...but yeah, I especially miss football from 80's and early 90's. And these millenials are pure shit overall. Entitled assholes....I feel old saying that but man, this generation sucks...lol

..f* him....nfl said 11 players at the QB position have been hit more with less flags....I couldn't tell you 1 of those other 11 because they get up and get their redemption by scoring tds....

One thing they did was to take away everything that made for memorable games. The weather and field conditions. The domes have ruined the games. Some of the greatest games ever played where played in freezing weather or snow storms. No more. The players don't even get dirty in half the games.
Kickoffs and punt returns are a joke. I also don't like the qb can throw the ball away if he gets out of the box first.

9:30 AM Football game on. I used to live for it and now, not so much...but I did get home from the gym, I had Washington +3 so figured I'd watch 2nd half. Not a bad game....overtime...and then "NFL Rules" says they can't show me overtime....are you fucking kidding me?? I'm supposed to watch 3 1/2 hours of a game....that's tied....and I can't watch overtime. Yeah, fuck the NFL for so many reasons.

Along those lines...there's just too much football. Growing up I never thought I'd say that...but you've got college and NFL every single Thursday. College games on Friday (and high school if you want). Saturday, literally all day long, sometimes even starting at 11am. Sunday-all day, all night, and now at 9am on some weeks. Then Monday night, of course.

I used to love MNF but now its just another game. Hell, for a few years, they were even having college games on Tuesday nights. My dad said years ago that the market was gonna become saturated. He said it happened to boxing and would eventually happen to football. Not sure he's right, but I swear, there's too much...and the only thing keeping me interested is betting. Well, I take that back...there's a lot about the college game I love.

I love the tradition, the atmosphere....just all the youth...the cheerleaders, the student section....I swear, I just feel like I'm 20 again every Saturday. I love a lot of the announcers, the different styles of play. There's a lot to hate too....but I do love it still. The NFL.....I'm just sick of it. I've even considered not playing fantasy any more so I can just really detach myself from it.

Honestly, I hate that I've gotten to where I care more about my fantasy team than the game itself. Much of the nation has. Its sad. The ironic thing is that when Fantasy got big years ago....the NFL tried to outlaw it. Of course, there's no way it could have, but just the idea....then they saw they could capitalize on it and get even more viewers. I'd love to see the NFL go under.

I was so young when it was around, but I loved the USFL....I wish a league like that would come back around!!

I always equate it to a doctor in the delivery room....he's delivering twins....drops the first one which puts him way behind, but delivers the 2nd without issue so he decides to spike the baby and dance around it....dancing for doing your job often times after you have made many errors seems stupid in any other profession....for some reason the NFL thinks it's cool

I'm getting audited all week from state for their annual review so I'm back in shit mood and can't even listen to sports radio which is typically my therapy. All they are discussing is cam/agholor....f***
