I could use some help with the best Survivor pick for week #1. I know the Bears, Giants, Saints, and Titans look solid, but does anyone have a great feeling on a team to NOT lose this weekend? I would love opinions and I'm sure others are in my same boat.

Thanks,

DD

I feel confident about the 49ers. Also a possibility are the Chargers. Otherwise, I think the Giants should be solid.

I got the Titans here D...I wouldn't be surprised if close to half entries are eliminated after Week 1...this is the toughest first week for Suicide Pool in recent memories.

I would steer far, far away from the Bears this week. I think Detroit could very well pull this one out. Watched the Bears very closely this preseason and I'm terrified of what I've seen.

That being said, I went with San Diego in mine. Debated going with Tennessee, but Oakland seems to thrive when they are good sized underdogs.

Good luck

Also meant to bring up Arizona. Might not be a bad pick against a rookie QB. A lot of people are pretty high on SF winning that division, so one would think they would come out with a statement right away

Very tough week. I have a feeling there will be alot of people knocked out.

I played Tennessee. I think they are the safest for week 1.

Thanks for everyone's input. After final review, I have decided to take the Titans as well. Raiders have a new QB, new OC, start 3 rookies, and never start off well. Although this game should be close, I don't like Oakland's chances to win. Far superior coaching is my final factor!

I thought about the Giants, but the Panthers success in the past vs. NYG @ their place scared me away. Eli is also such a headcase and can wilt and make such idiotic plays at times.

Upset Special could be the Lions IMHO. Bears OL looks dreadful and this could cause Cutler mistakes...

If trying to take a team that will be difficult to take in the future, take AZ as they have a very good defense against a rookie QB.

You should get more value with SF in a home game later and Det/Chicago is a toss-up based on the preseason.

You never know about Oakland but, they have lots of talent and if Seymour and the D-line stops Johnson, the game will be in the QB's hands and that's not a good proposition.

Taking a dog in a suicide pool is a bold move but I don't see Pitt losing their opener. Dixon is for real and they are healthy again.

Good luck.
