NFL underdogs

With the exception of the 14.5 underdog N.O. , the other 6 dogs that covered yesterday was 5-0-1 straight up. I may be wrong but I think this has been the trend in the past. I may start splitting my bets on the spread and the ML when playing dogs. Any thoughts on this ?

yeah, for a few years now, most dogs i bet who are +7 or lower i also bet on the ML. just seems to me that if you think they can stay within a score, they have a legit chance to win the game, so why not take the nice price?

that said, for some reason i've been getting away from that this season.
