Look for the other team from Texas to be much improved this year as they now have a solid foundation in place with Domanick Davis running the ball and Andre Johnson making plays. QB Carr has looked perfect in the preseason and may raise the level of his game this year. Meanwhile the Chargers are a team in freefall and the season hasn't even started. LT, while amazing, represents the entire offense and he can't do it alone.
Jets/Cincy Over 42
Expect some high scores from the Jets this season as Pennington connects with S. Moss and McCareins at will. I'm not sold on the defense however, and that's why I like the over.
Detroit +3 -- it may sound crazy to bet on the Lions in a road game but I see this club as getting the "most improved" tag by the end of the season and snagging a wild card berth. Great weapons at WR with two burners in Rogers and Williams. The addition of RB K. Jones however, will make all the difference.
Saints +2
Last season was not that long ago and I'm not convinced that Seattle has cured its inability to win on the road. Homefield advantage plus the points makes this a no-brainer.
