Week #3 in the NFL...............:00hour

:00hour

:00hour

2007 Record

BIG Plays 1-0
Medium Size Plays 1-2
Small Size Plays 5-5

2 Plays for now:

(Medium Size Play)
Carolina Panthers -3 (buy the ?)
Over Falcons
Buy the ? if you can?The Falcons offense is horrible mainly because their offensive line has played poorly and Joey Harrington is under center?the Panther Defensive line will dominate this contest and make life horrible for Mr. Harrington..On the flip side?the Falcons defense hasn?t played as poorly but I expect the Panthers offense to be able to move the ball both on the ground and thru the air as Steve Smith burns DeAngelo (Overrated) Hall to a crisp?Carolina is 21-9-2 ATS last 32 on the Road, 7-2 ATS last 9 following a double digit home losss and 5-1 ATS last 6 Road versus teams with a losing record?Atlanta is 0-4 ATS last 4 at Home and just 1-10-1 ATS last 12 at Home as Dogs of 3.5 ? 10?Panthers eeeezzz!
Carolina 30 Atlanta 14

(Small Play)
3 Game 10 point Teaser:

San Diego Chargers +5 over Packers
The Packers haven?t been able to run the football this season and face a stout Chargers run defense this week?also?the Packers receiving core is very banged up with Donald Driver being the only healthy WR of the top 4 starters?the Packers defense has been solid this season but they will really face a test trying to stop Chargers Hb Tomlinson who hasn?t gotten on track in the first two games?it will be Brett Farve vs the world this week.
San Diego 20 Green Bay 16

Pittsburgh Steelers +1
A west coast team having to travel and play an early 1:00 game is usually a recipe for a loss on the road?the Niners passing game hasn?t gotten on track because Alex Smith has played poorly this season and really misss the guidance and playcalling of his former mentor Norv Turner?the Niners Defense has played real well this season but was dealt a big blow today when they lost OLB Manny Lawson for the year due to an injury...both teams are 2-0 and only one will stay perfect after this week.
Pittsburgh 23 San Francisco 13

Kansas City and Minnesota UNDER 43.5
Both teams have struggled and will continue to struggle this week to put points on the board in a classic yawner?the Chiefs will feed Larry Johnson the ball 30 + times but L.J will find the going tough as he faces one of the best rush defenses in the league this week?the aging Tony Gonzalez is the only Chiefs receiver that the Vikings must plan for?on the flip side?the Vikings offense will have Kelly Holcombe under center but the only true playmaker on the Vikings offense is rookie Adrian Peterson?I expect the Chiefs defense to rise to the occasion at home in their opener?points will be hard to come by on Sunday.
Kansas City 16 Minnesota 13

I will be adding at least one more later! :scared

I'm really starting to like this game more and more as the week goes by, but won't make it a Big Play this week.

Medium Size Play:

Washington Redskins -3 over NY Giants
The trends in this game point more to the G-Men but this is one where you buck the trends?the Redskins were playoff material in 2005 and look the part once again this season?they have a solid balanced attack and a good Defense?the Giants on the other hand miss Tiki Barber and their Defense is one of the worst units in the league?this game is payback for the Redskins for the Giants 34-28 road win on 12/30/06 in which Tiki Barber ran wild for 234 yards and 3 TD?s?Revenge for the Redskins!!!!!
Washington 28 New York 20

Adding another Small Play:

2 Game 6 point Teaser
Jacksonville +9 over Denver
The Broncos could easily be 0-2 at this point winning both their games against inferior opponents on the last play of the game?this week they face a Jaguars team that is 1-1 but hasn?t gotten on track?the Broncos pass defense is the best in the league but their run defense leaves a lot to be desired?I think the Jaguars running game will finally get on track and exploit the Broncos rush defense which will set the tone for this game?I?m taking the +9 because I feel this one will be decided in the final minutes?Jacksonville is 6-1 ATS last 7 as a Dog of 0.5 ? 3.0 and 12-3-1 ATS last 16 when they score less than 15 pts in their previous game?Denver is 1-8 ATS last 9 on grass, 0-7 ATS last 7 at home and 0-7 ATS in their last 7 vs the AFC.
Denver 20 Jacksonville 19

Cincinnati Bengals +9 over Seattle
The Seahawks are coming off of a disappointing last second loss to the Cardinals while the Bengals were stunned by their in state rival the Browns?this is another game which will likely be decided in the fourth quarter and I?ll side with the team from the AFC conference which has been dominant over the past few years over it?s weaker sister the NFC?The Bengals are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 Sept contests and a nice 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 Road tilts?the Seahawks are just 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 as a favorite.
Cincinnati 28 Seattle 27

2-2 for the week but I just feel like I should have been 4-0

The Redskins losing a big lead like they did and the Chargers collapsing and not covering the +5 I had in the teaser...uhhggg!
