Loved this card when it first came out with all those big dogs, but it doesn't appear that they have that much bite.

Minnesota -6 4 units

Sure the Panthers had to go out and beat the Ravens and the Lions, but that doesn't mean that they aren't as bad as both of those teams. The Vikings were able to move the ball on the ground as expected against the Bills, but they were also effective against the Bears before the defensive injuries hurt the Bears. The Vikings could very easily be 2-0 right now. I just think that the Carolina defense that relies on the blitz could be hurt attempting to do so against a mobile Culpepper, an improving Bates and an always dangerous Moss. At some point in this game, the Panthers will have to rely on their offense to move the ball and help to win the game and they have not yet proven that they will be able to.

Dallas +9 3 units

The Eagles played as good of a game as they can against the Redskins on Monday Night. There is no way that I will back a team after they performed at their peak, especially when that peak came on a nationally televised game. The Eagles scorched the Cowboys twice last year. They won at Dallas 36-3 but only gained 212 yards on offense. Ryan Leaf's picks provided the rest of the points for the Eagles. In the game at Philly, they got 4 fumbles and a blocked punt to to lead to a 26-point 2nd quarter in a 40-18 romp. While there is no reason to think that the turnovers couldn't happen again, the fact is that the Cowboy defense has done a good job against the Eagle offense and if they can stick to a conservative game plan, then they will keep this game close throughout. This will be a close to the chest divisional game and I want to be on the side of the points.

Kansas City +9 3 units

After every sportscaster in the nation trashed the Patriots, they have all waivered and now say that the Pats are for real. Time to get off the band wagon. I just question the Pats motivation right now. They've got the Super Bowl rings, they've pummeled the Steelers, they battered the divisional Jets. How much will they have left to take care of business against the Chiefs?
