On a roll...but I'm being careful this week.
;)

As for this week?I?m not a huge fan of this week?s card?so proceed with caution.

(Small 1 Unit Play)

3 game 10 point teaser
Cleveland Browns +16 over Bills
Pittsburgh Steelers -0.5 over Lions
New York Jets +9 over Dolphins

Browns +16?The Browns just traded disgruntled Wr Braylon Edwards which should be addition by subtraction for the team since the Brownies received a young and talented WR in Chansi Stuckey and a solid special teams player in Jason Trusnick in addition to the future draft picks included in the deal?the Browns beat the Bills 29-27 last year in Buffalo and could repeat the performance once again on Sunday since the Brownies played much better last week in their OT loss to the Bengals while the Billie Goats were lousy last week and seem to be headed in the opposite direction?as I pointed out last week?the Bills defense is without their starting MLB Posluszny and 3 of their 4 starters ( both Safeties, Scott and Whitner and CB/RS McKelvin) in their secondary?they are also decimated on the other side of the ball at the OT position on their line?former third string OT Jonathan Scott should start at LT for Demitrius Bell?while Kurt Chambers (who was cut at the end of camp) starts at RT because starter Brad Butler is OUT for the year?Trends? The Browns are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games as a road underdog of 3.5-10.0?12-2 ATS in their last 14 road games vs. a team with a losing home record?6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 games as an underdog of 3.5-10.0?4-1 ATS in their last 5 games on turf?and 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games in October? The Bills are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. loss?but just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games as a home favorite of 3.5-10.0?1-4 ATS in their last 5 games after accumulating less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game?1-4 ATS in their last 5 games as a home favorite?1-5 ATS in their last 6 games on turf?.and just 1-6 ATS in their last 7 home games.
Cleveland 23 Buffalo 20
WINNER!!

Pittsburgh -0.5?The Steelers got back on track last week in their win over the Chargers while the Lions took a hit last week with the injury to QB Matthew Stafford and are really banged up on the defensive side of the ball with several players being listed as questionable at this time? The Steelers are 10-2-1 ATS in their last 13 games in Week 5?and 34-15-2 ATS in their last 51 games in October?.The Lions are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games as an underdog of 10.5 or greater?but just 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games as a home underdog?.3-13 ATS in their last 16 games on fieldturf?and 2-9 ATS in their last 11 home games.
Pittsburgh 30 Detroit 20
WINNER!

Jets +9?The 3-1 Jets lost their first game of the season last week to arguably one of the best teams in the league this season?this week they face a Dolphins team that finally notched one in the win column with their win over the fading Bills last week?this years Jets team is well coached with Rex Ryan at the helm and their offense will be getting a boost with WR Braylon Edwards expected to make his debut with the Jets on Monday?I like the Jets chances of stopping the Dolphins running game and feel they will be able to pressure Chad Henne since the Bills got to him 6 times (sacks) last week? The Jets are an amazing 10-1 ATS in their last 11 meetings in Miami?.and 20-5-2 ATS in their last 27 meetings with the Fish overall?plus? The Jets have won 5 out of the last 6 games against the Fish including 3 straight in Miami.
New York 20 Miami 17
WINNER!

I forgot to mention that I'm setting myself up for a "possible" middle attempt for Monday Night IF I change my mind and feel that the Fish have a chance to win on Monday.
