People are expecting the Steelers to fix their defensive problems in the off week, but spreading the Steelers out and avoiding running the ball has worked since the Cincinnati game last year. They had all off-season to fix it, so what's one week. With a strong running attack, Stewart is a serviceable quarterback. With the run problems that Bettis has had this year, Kordell turns into a liability. The Browns have been weak against the run on this year (4.5 yards/rush) and that is the main concern, but their offense should be able to keep this game up for grabs until the end.

New England -3 3 units

New England has proven more to me at this point in the season. The Pats showed alot of flaws on run defense last week but I think that had more to do with taking the Chiefs lightly than cracks in the armor. The Chargers have impressice wins against the Bengals and Texans, but had to hold on against the Cardinals. I think this step up in class will be too much.

Miami -3 3 units

I realize that I'm going against some pretty profitable systems in this matchup, but Miami looks to be on a tear right now. Williams is the back that they have always needed and their defense is benefitting so much do to time of possession. I think Miami wins this soundly.

Arizona +3 3 units

Zona's rush offense averaging over 5 a pop against a Giant defense yielding over 4. While the passing offense that the Giants have shown (well, not last week) does concern me, they are having all kinds of problems in the red zone because of their lack of a running game. Defenses have taken Boston out of the game with double teams, but you have to think that the Cardinals will find some way to move the ball through the air.

Don?t have the balls to take the Ravens +8 and wouldn?t touch it unless it hit 10, but I do respect the value of anything over 7. Denver yielding under 300 yards a game on the defensive side even with a schedule that saw them take on San Francisco, St. Louis, and Buffalo. Baltimore averaging 231 yards/game. This game screams ?pass? to me, but I can?t let a Monday go by without action

2 units teaser Denver ?2/ Under 42
