I just think it is an odd line (Vikings). Many people believe that both the Vikings and the Eagles are Super Bowl contenders in the NFC. Both are on the road to open the season, Philadelphia @ Carolina and Minnesota @ Cleveland. Most would agree that the Vikings and Eagles are of equal talent levels. Not as many would believe that the Browns and Panthers are, though. So why are both teams 3-point dogs at home??

Cleveland was one of the league's worst teams last season, winning just one game at home, they are essentially starting a first year player in Brady Quinn and the line should be adjusted for the public love for Brett Favre.

I would think this line would be closer to more of a six-to-seven point spread in favor of the Vikings and cannot find a reason to explain otherwise. Minnesota -3.5 looks like the biggest slam dunk of the weekend and that usually means trouble.
