I picked up 2 units last week with the Patriots ez blowout of the Bills.

2011 NFL Plays Record:
13-7-1

Best Bets:
11-3-1

Teasers:
11-4

Straight Plays:
2-3-1

Breakdown:

Medium Size Plays:
3-1

Small 1 Unit Plays:
8-4-1

Very Small 1/2 Unit Plays:
2-2

Leans:
10-8-1

+6.8 Units

Somewhat of a tough week in my opinion but I like this play as the best of the week.

Best Bet
Small 1 Unit Play
Houston Texans -3
over Bengals

The Texans came from behind to beat the Bengals 20-19 in Cincy just 4 weeks ago and outgained the Bengals 412-285 in that contest...the diffence in this game will be the Texans two-headed monster running game of Arian Foster and Ben Tate going against a Bengals defense that struggled to stop the run last week which will allow QB TJ Yates to pick his spots (Yates threw for 300 yds vs the Bengals in their 20-19 win)...on the flip side, Bengals QB Andy Dalton was hospitalized with flu like symptoms this week and missed Wednesday's practice which included key redzone installations for this game...Dalton will be facing a very tough Texans defense in a very loud environment come Saturday...The Texans are 5-1-2 ATS in their last 8 games on grass and 6-2-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall...on the flip side the Bengals are 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 road games, but just 1-5-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall...All in all, the Texans running game should dictate the tempo of this game which will allow the Texans passing game to exploit a very undisciplined Bengals secondary as the home team with the better matchups survives to play another week.
Houston 23 Cincinnati 16

Game Prediction Only:

New Orleans 34 Detroit 24...The Saints beat the Lions 31-17 back in week 14 but the Lions outgained the Saints in total yards and held a big edge in time of possession in that game...The Saints playoff experience and home field advantage should lead them to a victory once again against a stubborn Lions team that keeps it interesting...The Saints are 11-1 ATS in their last 12 home games and a perfect 8-0 ATS in their last 8 games overall...the Lions are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game.

This one was even easier than I thought it would be!

Taking the money and running from yesterday!

Lean only:

New York Giants -2.5
over Falcons

The Giants appear to be peaking at the right time as they are getting healthy and have won 3 out of their last 4 games, and face a Falcons team that has some key injuries and has lost 2 out of their last 3 games on the road...The Giants defensive line matches up well with the Falcons O-Line playing without LT Sam Baker and should be able to take Matt Ryan off his mark and pressure him all game long...the Falcons must run the ball effectively to keep the Giants D-Line honest...the Falcons are 0-3 SU this year (losses at Chicago, Houston and New Orleans) when they faced defenses that made Ryan uncomfortable in the pocket...on the flip side the Falcons defense has struggled to put pressure on the QB as of late and lost OLB Mike Peterson for the season last week with a torn tricep...The Giants offense has the playmakers and a hot QB in Eli Manning to put enough points on the board to end the Falcons season and advance to the next round of the playoffs...The Giants have won the last 3 meetings between thetwo teams and are 4-0 ATS vs a team with a winning record, 5-1 ATS in their last 6 playoff games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall...the Falcons are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games vs a team with a winning home record...The Road team is 8-0 ATS in their last 8 meetings between the two teams....Close!, but just a hunch the healthier team with better matchups and home field advantage comes out on top.
New York 30 Atlanta 27

Game Prediction:

Pittsburgh 20 Denver 16
...The Tim Tebow experiment could come to an end on Sunday but not without a last ditch effort from Tebow himself...The Steelers defense will be without safety Ryan Clark and their struggling offense will be missing RB Rashard Mendenhall, C Maurice Pouncey and playing with a banged up Ben Roethlisberger...The Steelers are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games in January, 9-2 ATS in their last 11 playoff games, 6-1 ATS in their last 7 playoff games as a favorite and 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games following a ATS loss....the Broncos are just 2-6-1 ATS vs a team with a winning record, but 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as an underdog and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 playoff home games... The Broncos defense keeps them in this game, but the Steelers survive to live another week.
