Houston Texans -3
over Bengals
The Texans came from behind to beat the Bengals 20-19 in Cincy just 4 weeks ago and outgained the Bengals 412-285 in that contest...the diffence in this game will be the Texans two-headed monster running game of Arian Foster and Ben Tate going against a Bengals defense that struggled to stop the run last week which will allow QB TJ Yates to pick his spots (Yates threw for 300 yds vs the Bengals in their 20-19 win)...on the flip side, Bengals QB Andy Dalton was hospitalized with flu like symptoms this week and missed Wednesday's practice which included key redzone installations for this game...Dalton will be facing a very tough Texans defense in a very loud environment come Saturday...The Texans are 5-1-2 ATS in their last 8 games on grass and 6-2-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall...on the flip side the Bengals are 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 road games, but just 1-5-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall...All in all, the Texans running game should dictate the tempo of this game which will allow the Texans passing game to exploit a very undisciplined Bengals secondary as the home team with the better matchups survives to play another week.
