Let's try this again. LY 101-99-3 in reg season. Above .500, but a losing season. Had to really rally to get above .500. Playoffs were awful at 5-10.

Hous +3 Houston has issues, but Taylor has won in the league and Texans have decent O-line w/ good RB's. Not buying Jax as a RF
w/ rookie QB and coach.

Wash -1 I'll lay the small # with the better D vs team w/ new coaching staff. Plus an early start for LAC.

Det +8- Seems like a lot of hype on SF this year, or maybe it's just me. They'll be OK, but I'm expecting Det to bust a gut in this one
(or at least gnaw a kneecap) and lay it on th line for the first game. Campbell's schtick will get old, but not in first game. Ill
take the generous pts.

Needless to say I counted the Lions as a loss too early. They certainly showed some grit not giving up and having a punchers change of getting to OT. They'll play tough, but they're not good and just lost a starting DB. You can win a week or 2 in the NFL on emotion, but talent always wins out.

Bslt -3- Solely a play on Harbaugh's record w/ >1 week to prep. I don't recall the exact record, but recall it's pretty dang good. It
helps that in this case I think he's also got the better team.
