6-3 last week for 8-5 overall... :0corn

Philli v. Jax OVER 37

Bit surprised at this line...and also the price (1.98).
Philli will play their starting offense for 3 quarters, McNabb for two and a half, Vick for a large part, if not all of the rest.
They haven't scored all that well, and there are concerns over the O-line, but Jax have just 1 sack to their name in 2 games so far, and look like they might be without 3 starting LB's for the game!
Celek and Westbrook look like playing...4 of their last 5 'real' (week 3) pre-season games have topped 40.
Plus, they've ginen up 23 and 27, Gerrard has looked sharp, and Jax have topped 21 in each of their last 3 wk 3. games (2 have been on the road).
Not sure what I'm missing here, but looks like there'll be some points to me.

Good Luck all

Thanks mate. :toast:

Good luck with the Cards tomorrow...(...and Hope you still had a little bit on the Jags today :( )

NE @ Washington under 37.5

One thing NE does in these 'serious' pre-season games under Bellicheck is play defense.
27 last year to Philli, but only 13 offensive (punt and KO returns)...
...7, 0, 3 previous 3 years, so eve if they do go on a scoring binge it gives a fair margin.
Washington are crap obviously!...scored a few late v. Pits, but no Daniel in this game, Brennan to come in late.
Not convinced NE will be wanting to risk Brady coming out from under centre too much just yet, so expecting lots of shotgun and running plays called which will tick the tock.
In the NE score-fest 2007, they went 24-7 @ Carolina in this game, and a similar result here looks to be in order. (imho of course! :tongue )

Grabbed these last night, and a bit surprised by how much line movement there's been...
...I guess I'll post anyway.

Tenn @ Cleveland under 38.5

So the Browns can score on Detroit...:142smilie
Tenn haven't been at all impressive offensively, less than 3ypr so far, haven't topped 200 yards passing, and just 8 FD's last week at Dallas.
The Titans snooze their way thru a 3-17 game last year @ Atl...Browns haven't topped 37 in this game last 3 years.

Pittsburgh v. Buff under 37

Steelers starting D have allowed just 3 points so far, and that needed a fake punt along the way.
They'll play for at least a half.
Buffalo have scored just 4 FG's in the 3 first halves they've played so far...no TO again to stretch the Steeler D.
Last 4 years in this game for Pits have been; 12-10 @ Min, 27-13 with a late rally and a fumble returned for a TD v. Philli...
...7-16 @ Philli and 10-17 @ Washington.
Experienced team, and usually happy just to move on.

Baltimore @ Carolina OVER 34

Panthers have big problems on defense. Thin on the line, leading tackler from last year out, they've given up 30+ in 5 of their last 7 games, and allowing nearly 5 ypr in the pre-season already.
24 and 23 points by the Ravens and all QB's are looking pretty sharp!
Caro have scored 17 in both games, first home game...another 17 here should get the job done.

Good Luck all

Indi -3

A post below from IE tells the story really! Lions will be without their starting CB's...Northcutt, Simms an Smith aren't playing either...
...but this defense has given up 25 or more points in 16 of their last 18 games!! (The 2 times they didn't were both v. Minni! :142smilie ), so now further depleted...
...and Indi will play Manning into the 3rd and the offense will be 'playing with a purpose'.
A long pass by a 4th stringer with 20 seconds left made the Philli score look better than it was...
...and Detroit scored just 3 points in the first 37 minutes v. Atlanta!! (And obviously 10 last week v. the Browns)

Feel better about it already, AR. :toast:

Seattle @ KC under 39.5

KC offense continues to splutter, just 10 and 13 points in 2 games and they still have a lot of problems.
Inconsistant QB's (looks like Thigpen will get most of 2H), no decent WR's, patchy O-line...it goes on...
Seattle will spend this game as a tune up for their running game. Just 2.9 ypc is a concern, they know it needs work, and with James likely to suit up, it will be getting most of the attention.
Both teams have playe some pretty good D so far (esp. against the run).

Nice screw over jobs by both the Ravens and Brownies! (Yeah, I know, it's pre-season, what should I expect! )

Ravens get 1st and goal on the 1...false start...delay of game...sack...missed FG...

Brownies score first play off a muffed punt, and soon after a pick 7...but the end was weird...
...Titans go for a fake punt on 4th and 3 near midfield, then on the same drive (late) they settle for a FG on a 4th and 1? :nono:

Anyway...

Houston v. Minni OVER 39 (2.01)

3 out of their combined 4 games have been low scoring...but those 3 have been v. KC (x2) and a Manning-less Indi, where Curtis Painter and Chris Crane  took all but about 4 snaps!
Minni still gave up 5.5 ypr in that game, and in fact, gave up over 300 total to KC...as did Houston.
Favre for the first half...but there should be late scores, with Sage and Jackson playing 1/4 each, and effectively fighting for a roster spot.
Plus Houston have allowed over 5.1 ypr, so Minni will have some success on the ground for sure.
Schaub to play 3/4's or so (rating of 111 so far!)...Houston have brought up the knee incident @ Minni last year, so expect them to pile on the points if the oppertunity comes.

Good Luck all
