4-3 (+0.8)

Tampa -2.5 (1.91)

KC are just terrible...their QB's (in training camp) have been discribed as "horrendous" by the head coach...and it's only getting worse now with Croyle out.
An awful run D will get tested big time by the Bucs here...
...Bucs don't have a great pre-season record of late, but they did top 20 in 3 of 4 last year...won one in Jax despite Gerrard having a big day, and were beaten when Young played into the 2H @ Tenn, and Grossman lit them up v. Houston.
KC don't have anyone capable of inflicting damage, as witnessed by them being 0-8 (ats) last 8 pre-season games...
...and 0-5 (SU and ats) in their last 5, and not scoring 14 in any of them.

EDIT: Last weeks game @ Miami was played in pouring rain...still the Bucs first team offense went 83 yards in 12 plays...
...held the 'Fins to 39 yards in 15. :SIB

Carolina +2 (1.91)

System play...winless home underdogs are traditionally good plays in pre-season...
...10-2-1 ats as far as I go back...inc. 4-0-1 last 4 years.
Under-rated defense this year and I reckon they might surprise a few.

[NO @ pk is also a system play, but will see where the line ends up closer to game time. :0074 ]

Good Luck all

Pittsburgh @ NYG under 34

Steelers now 2-16-1 under last 19...
Bhomar will be the Giants lone QB...Giants may have scored 31 last week, but just 14 FD's and 23 minutes TOP!!
Bare-bones play-callers = run, run, run...and they av'd just 3.0 y/rush last week...
...Steelers held Det to 3.3, and gained only 3.3 themselves.
Lots of running, not much movement, lots of clock ticking, not much scoring! :nono:

Dallas @ SD under 37

All about the Cowboys this one...specifically about their lack of offensive personel. They've shown a completely vanilla offense so far which has resulted in lack of red zone success...lack of TE's has been a concern, and now they will be without 3 of their starting O-line for this game...to the point where talk of not risking Romo at all is an option.
Dallas D has been pretty good tho, keeping Oakland to 10 offensive points last week and Cinci 7 @ HOF game, who have scored 33 and 22 since...
...SD won't be interested in running up a score...they are having some problems at offensive tackle themselves.
Looks big @ 37.

Detroit @ Dallas OVER 35.5

A very bad D goes into this game weaker still with a host of starters not playing...
...no Tebow will mean Orton who looked good last week and has done so all camp by all accounts...and then onto Quinn, who has struggled, but even towards the end of last season faced some tough pass D's...
...4 of his last 6 games last year were against top 11 pass D's...plus Pittsburgh (16th)...and KC 22nd, when they scored 41 points...
...of course the other team in there was Detroit in which they (Browns at the time of course!) scored 37!
Another solid pass D (Cinci) last week, but I suspect Denver can't help but put up points against this Det unit @ home.
Hill, Stanton, Stafford all looked good last week, and Denver did give up 33 to Cinci...
...expecting some points.

Jax v. Miami under 36

Firstly, the 'Phins are on a 0-10 under run away from home in pre-season...and this is a place it's likely to continue given their last 5 meetings have all been under this number.
Also a lot of talk out of the Jags wanting to play a physical game with it being a good test to get their running game on track.
Miami gained just 10 FD's last week, and look happy to get time into Thigpen with no real ambitions to score big/win games.

Brownies -3 (1.80)

This game would be -10 or so in the reg. season...Cleveland plan to play starting offense into the 3rd (with a combination of Delhomme and Wallace)...
...SL plan on the same rotation as last week with Feeley, Bradford, Null...went scoreless last week (7 points from an INT).
2 teams in opposite directions atm...Browns on a 5-0 SU and 8-0 ats run and building, Rams on a 0-9 SU run...trying to build, but just don't have the cattle at this stage.
This could get messy.

Last one in a big week...

Chicago v. Oakland under 34

Hanie is out for the Bears, so Cutler will go into then 2nd quarter then a whole lot of Dan LaFevour...who isn't likely to score anytime soon!
SD did put up 25 on the Bears last week, but 5 came from a safety and the ensuing FG...besides, Volek is more of a downfield passer than both Campbell and Boller, so certainly no need to suspect the Bears' D will be under any real pressure here from a Raiders team who managed 10 offensive points last week @ Dallas.

Yeah, just noticed the movement Bender.

Panthers were 'dogs all week...not too sure if starting as a home dog is the motivational factor behind the 'system' or not tho...
