5-3

Dallas -2.5

Historically in the 3rd week of NFLX, home 'dogs with 1 win are a bad bet, going 4-10. 0-1 last year (although technically, NO weren't exactly at home.)
It makes sense...the road team are favs as they are clearly the better team, but the home team has shown a willingness to win, so the spread is conservative.
Dallas have been very good so far. Romo and the offense are clicking (and will play into the 3rd tonight), and their first string D (also play into 3rd) are yet to allow a TD.

Indi v. Detroit over 40

Indi could hit 40 themselves. Starters playing into the 3rd, and being the dress rehersal game figure to go all out...esp. with the Detroit D planning to sit before HT!
Going back to 2003, in the 3rd game of NFLX, Indi have scored 27 (over), 24 (over), 30 (over), 28 (over).
Detroit look like resting Kitna, but O'Sullivan has been ok so far, and throws at over 10.3 yards/pass!!
The Indi pass D has been poor so far aswell, allowing Dallas 20/24 @ over 8 yards/pass, and Chicago 23/30 @ 7.8

Miami v. TB under 34

Tampa Bay are having big problems with their O-line, and it seems the goal of the pre-season now is to stay healthy.
Miami are back to full strength defensively and are going to run a very vanilla offense.
TB have scored 13 and 19 (7 in first half with starters), Miami ahve scored 18 and 11.
Last year's pre-season meeting was 13-10.

Washington v. Baltimore under 32

Another possible 'system' play on Balt -3.5, but I prefer the under in this one.
Baltimore have historically cranked up the D in this 3rd game...4 straight unders until last year when they were totally embarrasing losing 7-30, after alloing an INT return TD, a fumble recovery TD and a 77 yard pass TD.
Won't happen again this year.
Washington have scored 14 (all in the last 1.14! With a fumnble recovery in end zone), and 10.
Baltimore lit up a terrible under-manned and un-motivated Philli in week one, but back to earth with 12 last week (just 14 FD's)v. the Giants who aren't great defensively.

Good Luck all
