nhl consensus picks

i have been following a few consensus sites lately ...looking at plays that are getting a lopsided amount of picks..tonight i went to the two main sites i use ...these were some tha popped out to me...

1.) vanc...21 for -3 against
2.) pitt 16-7
3.) SJ 21-4
4.) wash 22-3
5.) toronto 13-4

these are just some that popped out to me..and im not sure thgis helps anyone ....but in the NBA forum the other day ..ANTONIO posted a nice thread on playing against consensus picks that are overwhelming picks...its a nice read....and informational...in the long run it seems to be profitable to fade these situations

1.) vanc loss
2.) tor loss
3.)was push

puck line play...minus 1/2..all three losses ..0-3

i think so horns ..im thinking of keeping track of these plays...maybe a cut off of around 70% on one side...

if anyone thinks this is useful ...let me know i'll post when i can..

1.) ML plays 0-3-1
2.) puck line plays 0-4

any thoughts...????...
its only one night but i think its worth following ...:shrug:

I think this thread needs to come up quite often as it is important. I don't visit consensus sites very often, but when I do, I most generally go against the very top plays.

You'll win more than you lose.

BTW, thx cooz for the props. I'll try and get around here more often as I'm still trying to learn the trade of NHL profit making.

I am a big stats person in most sports in combination with line movement. I only use linemovement in NHL as I don't have the time to dig into it like you guys.

An example was last night. Saw the under starting to drop on the Penguin under fairly quickly. I was right on a couple of others I didn't play, same scenario.

I believe nolan dalla friend discover this football with a office pool. What basically means the public sucks when comes to picking winners. What you should do if you truly want to track it. Like other site have everyone give their pick of the day. Do the experiment for a week and see what kind of results you get.
