Why don't these nuts just say, 'there will be no regular season NHL games for the 2012-2013 NHL season and be done with it?

These clowns have had since last year to negotiate a new CBA and they can't agree on what? Really? A TV deal? A compensation package for concussions? WHAT? What the hell are they deliberating about and can't come to an agreement?

Oh yeah, I forgot! Donald Fehr is helping in this with brainsforless, Gary Bettman!! Two guys who need to be checked in at a mental ward pronto!!

Perhaps this is an omen as well, as the last NHL season that was cancelled, the Hurricanes won the Lord Stanley Cup!!! The Canes signed a few decent players to go with what their strengths were to fill some needs and now they won't be able to put this into action until next Fall!!

I loved hockey as a kid, days of Bobby Orr, Phil & Tony Espo, Yvonne Corn-way-yay, Bobby Clarke, BroadStreet Bullies, etc., this shit drives me friggin nuts that they've had this long of a time to figure a few things out and they can't come to an agreement and just pissed away an entire fall/winter, keeping vendors out of work, ticket people out of work, but it's made money for the lower hockey pro leagues and in Europe/Russia and wherever else they play real hockey without labor stoppage!!

END OF STORY!! I'm OUT!

You gotta love when a sport this irrelevant to the public decides to blow its brains out instead of continuing its slow death. I can't imagine what actual hockey fans must be thinking. The have to be pissed as hell. Baseball had steroids to fuel its return to relevance. Not sure how the NHL will ever recover from this shit.

Last I checked it was the US where most of the NHL teams are, and thus obviously that was what I was talking about. Everyone knows that hockey matters in Canada. That goes without saying. The last time a major sports league was this foolish it was MLB, and it took them a while to come back. That is America's historic game and it still took the explosion of records with performance-enhancing drugs to bring MLB back. And that was before the cutthroat entertainment industry that the Internet has brought about. What chance does the NHL have of ever being relevant in the US again with all the competition for viewing eyes that exists now? It was already on its sick bed before this madness.

Now that the lockout/strike-whateverthefekBettmanchickenlilandDonaldFehrthinkshesTrump called it, the owners and front office people need to think of how to salvage more than just games!

What about getting fans to fill the arenas? What about having a confident tv contract? What about having a face for the NHL on TV, like the NBA, MLB and NFL have done, reaching out to kids, etc?

For the first 2 homes games for each of these towns, there should be absolutely no fee to pawk ya kaws and all ticket prices either the same, 1/2 price or free, make the money at the concession stands since you screwed over those employees with no hours to work and no souvenirs to sell, etc.

MLB took a long time to get back it's fans, the NFL in some cities the same, those with millions of people in it didn't feel the same effect say a Charlotte or Jacksonville felt from the NFL lockout, most of those fans are toasted by 1/2 time and leave anyways when their teams were down at the half.

But the NHL should seriously look at filling those arenas quickly and give the message to fans, "SORRY WE FOOKED YOU!!" "This is my twin seester FOOK ME" oops wrong show, anyways, Get the fans back on your side, show them you really care!!

With the limited number of games, and I'd say most of the players are in shape, hopefully they schedule the remaining games for the season as it was and not try to modify it too much. The AS game is out and so is the Ice Classic, so just get on with it!!

Many rosters changed over the season so now it's time to read through the chit and see who has who and how these teams will fare up!!

GET ON WITH THE NUTSACK!!!
