just got home from MIAMI on weds night....what a great patriots game....partying for 3 days straight probably took a couple years off my life...but it was well woth it..can only be young once in this lifetime.....
been really busy capping football,,and its been paying off thus far...but i love hockey so much its been tough to stay away....will be around a little more often i hope...just dont want to start capping three sports at once all the time ...

1.) boston/carolina over 5...
this play lays exclusively on the assumption that weekes will not play...if he does start i will buy this play back...CAVEAT..
boston has been playing great hockey lately im really surprised by thier last road trip....but dont think its beacuse they are playing good defensive hockey...they are playing OK defensively..it has been thier goaltending that has been exceptional....and thier offense has begun to click....i cant dispute that carolina has been struggling to score goals ..thats no secret..but that has not been because of lack of effort they are routinely getting 30 shots on net...sooner or later that offensive effort will turn into goals...just a matter of bounces and breaks going your way.....i think the B's will give up thier share of shots tonight as well as quality scoring chances...just hoping this may be game carolina gets some breaks ...
now B's offensively will certainly get thier share tonight...and if weekes is out that gives them a much better shot at converting those chances into goals...im not syaing STORR is a bum by any means ...im just syaing he is not the same caliber as weekes ..who has kept carolina in some games this year..that could have been a lot more lopsided...
