credit where credit is due. texas established their tempo- and msu could never get over the hump. while i agree with some posts below that it was ridiculous to see 20 2h team fouls on msu- a downright absurd number- the horns just got the job done. really started off the tournament en feugo and came up with some lame plays the last 2 or 3 days. gave back half the profits from the tourney in the last few days. to those that followed on msu- my apology on a sh1tty play. for real- even though i havent lost a goy type play in a very long time (3 yrs), this one was a terrible play and theres no way around it.

congrats horns backers

even though im not one for conference teams meeting up in the championship- texas vs. kansas would be amazing.

raymond/ bird :

thanks for the words. simply put- i dont like letting guys down. losin a good chunk of money on a play is tough, but knowin that some guy might have coattailed and lost- thats the worst. thats why i dont hype plays and go crazy and draw attention- because no play is guaranteed- period. even though im sittin at 18-12 for the tourney and gained (+7.9 units), feel like i let some guys down. and theres really no other way around it- texas was the right side in that game and i missed the boat. not a good feeling, even though the previous week and a half has been good to me. kinda leaves a sour taste in my mouth. thx again guys.

Gman-

You can't win every game. Seriously, you have been great all year. You'll bounce back nicely I'm sure.

Ball didn't go our way tonight, it happens.

See you soon,
Bombs

How true. The shameless self promotion and hype you sometimes see here by some folks is tiresome, but to each his own I guess. As for your play, don't sweat it, it sounds like you've been doing well overall...get em back next weekend.;)

Classy post gman!

Your write-ups remind me of ndnfan's in the baseball forum. I think your knowledge of the game and adept analysis is among the best at this site. Continued success to you! ;)

GMan

Usually ride with your picks but had to go against you in that one.
Went with the "home" court theory in the last round and went 3-1, losing only with my team Arizona so the record is nice but the loss hurts more than the wins.

Good luck in the semis (both NIT and NCAA) this week.

Being one who coat tailed you, by my own free will I was wondering what happened the last few plays. But all in all I remember what you said "capping isn't throw'in darts" or something like that. Yet as I look around the forum I see allot of people where off judgment when it came to the tourney I did go with Cuse in the early game simply because I had that feeling about them. But all said and done I have learned allot from you CG Ray, Hellah BM DD and so many more I was in another forum before I came across Mad Jacks thanks to Nolla. What a different beteew that place and here every one was a smart A** ,GOY year every day 50 Unit play and the rest of that crap It was like being in Mike Warrens living room You are, like a lot of guys that make of Mad Jacks what it is as great place to hang around listen or read and learn the in and outs of capping In a nut shell like Ray said and like so many other here at mad jacks( no offense) Your a class act! Thanks for the picks this tourney the write-ups the time Etc.
