Boston is in the middle of a fierce playoff chase while Detroit has basically sewn up the top spot in the west. Intensity should be high in Boston with the controversy over sitting LaPointe for this game. Detroit has struggled in two straight, losing at Buffalo and then being outplayed in an overtime win at home against Edmonton.
Washington PK +130 over EDMONTON 500/650
Gotta think this is a big incentive game for the Caps after the controversial loss in San Jose last night. Bondra continues to be hot, which usually indicates a hot Caps team. Edmonton is in the traditionally good fade position of coming home with one day of rest off a good cross country road trip.
