Just curious Nick. Your 79-75, four games over .500 Mind telling me how you got to +8429? Are you pullin' dem doggies out? If so, I would sure like to know how you do it. That sure is a good looking number.
Looking forward to reading your analysis on the upcoming games. Good Luck

Cisco, xerri is right in what he says.

Keep in mind that ND uses a $400 unit, so his posted amount in up around 21 units.

A typical day for him is playing two dogs and, as xerri says, sometimes very large dogs.

A lot of times you have to hold your nose to bet the damn things but then, more often than not, you also get to sit back and watch them win and cover.

Possible outcomes of playing two dogs are WW, LL, WL, and LW. Three out of those four outcomes make money for you.

Nick just kinda quietly stacks up the chips.

Hope this helps.

Pat

ps. edited to correct approximate unit amounts.

to give my thoughts on the subject:

the two dog play is a very logical one, from a money management point of view. it is the kind of play that gives you a decent plus when you split, a huge win when you hit both, and a small bearable loss when 0-2. 3 dogs changes the $$$$ aspect of it, and 4 or more is really pushing it.

this also falls in line with avoiding totals, where you need a 55% success rate just to break even, much higher if you get into -120s and the likes.

needless to say, you still have to pick your spots, and that may mean not having a play every day. luck is not a consideration here, as it works both ways, for dogs and favorites.

i don't follow xerri's strategy, but he? is among the leaders in the sunday contest, with a very nice percentage return on money risked (about 33%). can't beat that.
