Was bet down to a high 5/2 but had to chase a .23 first quarter by Bel Vaggio who had designs on stealing it. Bet down to 7/1, neither one had the stamina. I'm guessing Barbara told Maragh that if the race got away from him, not to hurt a $45,000 animal. The horse did well enough to keep in your file.
