Let me start by saying I have never really advocated for relievers being awarded the Cy Young award, but when you see Craig Kimbrels name come up keep these stats in mind. And this was before he struck out 4 in the 9th tonight!

Hard to argue against either of the above guys. Was just pointing out how sick Kimbrels stats are and why you will be hearing his name.

Can't count Washington's Gio Gonzales either! These last few games will make a difference for sure.

When you see Kimbrel pitch in person you really see how lights out he is. True shut down closer. I saw him last week against the Marlins. All I can say is wow. Nothing but overpowering gas with a bastard slider.
