Game 1 STUFF - GREINKE

IN THE POSTSEASON: With the loss, Greinke fell to 1-2 with a 5.56 ERA (14 ER/22.2 IP) in four career postseason starts. The 29-year-old has previously faced St. Louis twice during postseason play in the 2011 NLCS, going 1-1 with a 6.17 ERA (8 ER/11.2 IP) as the Cardinals downed the Brewers in six games.

VS. ST. LOUIS: Greinke picked up the win in his only start against the
Cardinals this season, allowing two runs on eight hits in 6.1 innings in the
Dodgers? 3-2 victory on Aug. 5 at Busch Stadium. The right-hander has gone
8-1 with a 2.11 ERA (14 ER/59.2 IP) in his last 10 regular-season games
(eight starts) against the Cardinals since 2007 and overall is 8-3 with a 3.10
ERA (24 ER/69.2 IP) in 12 career games (10 starts) vs. St. Louis, including a
3-1 record with a 2.28 ERA (7 ER/27.2 IP) in five games (four starts) at
Busch Stadium.

[Began the season out of the bullpen before moving into a starter?s
role in July.

[Was 1‐2, 3.65 ERA out of the bullpen.
