Just now got overnight early line at local book... three that caught my attention because they are in my local area and follow them closely ...am a WVa hillbilly ...lives bout 18 miles from WVU campus ...bout 83 miles due south of Pittsburgh ...so easy to get info on these teams ...they get local tv time here ...... that being said ...just impressions and one persons opinion for what its worth ...Would be nice if Pitt beats Mia Flor ...give WVU a Big East title ...like to see that happen ...but in my opinion not likely to happen..... with no cap at all ...STRONG lean to Mia Flor-3 1/2 ...write up here later ....WVU-20 1/2 over Temple ...WVU cannot afford to depend on Pitt beating Mia to back into the title ...they will TRY to win and win big here at home in front of home crowd and Bowl watchers ...feel that Temple covering against Pitt last week shades the points here i was expecting a line of 24-25 on this game ...now the third matchup ...BG-9 vrs Toledo ...home field is big edge in this league ...BG the best team no argument ...BUT Toledo a tough dog that will not roll over for anyone ...lot of pride in this team ...strong lean here for taking the points ...with out a cap ...just on knowing both teams feel BG wins the game Toledo covers ....all comments and opinions always welcome here on my threads ...always fishing for the info to win money ...its what we ALL are here for ....Augur

not taking a stand on this game...although i grabbed the 4 early....but some info....

pitt seems to struggle vs teams that lean heavily on or have strong ground games.....west virgina ...notre dame....toledo......and with their injury to gore, little payton is o.k.,but not what i`d call dominating....and this has to be considered a very down year for the canes...i think teams see this as the opportunity to get a little payback on the canes and their anemic offense...

last week miami was only up 6-3 at the half vs rutgers before waking up in the 3rd quarter...the stats...

rutgers-miami..

First Downs 18 13
Total Rushes 35 43
Rushing Yards 130 220
Pass Comp-Attempts 24-46 7-17
Passing Yards 213 93
Interceptions Thrown 3 0
Punts-Avg 8-31.8 7-34.9
Return Yards 13 90
Fumbles-Lost 2-0 1-1
Penalties-Yards 9-44 7-53
Time Of Possession 33:44 26:16

pitt was up on temple last week 21-3 and took their foot off the gas... brandon miree is back running the ball for pitt...he gained 188 yards last week in his first action...

that said, there is a substantial difference in quality of the respective defenses....and miami has the ability to manufacture points even when their offense lags....which,this year is much of the time...

i just don`t think miami is that good this year......but i can be disuaded from my stance...pitt still has an outside chance at the conference title and a bcs bid....

right now i`m leaning toward taking the 4....actually took it...but would buy back based on a compelling argument..i don`t like betting clubs that struggle defending the run...

looking forward to your write-up...

btw....how the hell does any team get this deeply into the season playing only 3 road games???..
