With that being said I have been saying since the beginning of the year the referees can change the outcome or the pace of the game at any point.
That is why most referees first jobs are lawyers and doctors because they Are less likely to take a bribe
I think referees average salary in the NFL is only a couple hundred thousand dollars. I?m sure somewhere out there there is a schedule showing what each referee is paid per year.

It seems more and more after every game the referees are more of the talk then the actual game itself. :0003

Of crs.. Once i realized these are pro wrestling matches i started winning at a much higher rate.. And was never tempted to go crazy on any one game.. I play storylines out and make futures on things like that.. Fade the public.. And rarely do i ever watch any of this bs anymore.. I do well.. Im poker first guy.. But i still do well with sports as my side chick

I?ll rest my case with this observation watch the WWE and those are two guys that are faking something and they can?t even come close to making it look real now get 22 guys that have 90 plays in the game who were all faking? LOL 😂 it?s not even an argument worth having with you it makes no sense if anything a referee is the only person that can change the outcome of a game I?ve been saying it since the beginning of the year. Players make too much money to risk what they would make gambling on a game plus in Las Vegas you can only bet $5500 on a flatbed at a time so I doubt if that $5000 winner is going to make up for a $27 million paycheck.:shrug:

My final last point on fixed games let?s take the Rams Saints New England Kansas City games which side did you bet if any so you bet the Rams and New England you had two winners. But if you have the saints in Kansas City you had to losers I just want to know what person forced you to bet the any team? How come you can?t bet on the WWE matches? And if pro sports were fixed then they would only let you bet on one team for instance let?s go back to Saints Rams if it was fixed Vegas would say the line is Saints -3 but you can only bet the Saints you?re not allowed to bet the Rams without that playing out then games cannot be fixed. So your beating a very lonely 😩 drum. My friend

I don't think games are fixed but I do believe that quarters are fixed sometimes. But I have no proof except the weirdo calls. But they seem to happen on both sides. When I was a kid and when I played I knew what a catch was. Today I don't have a clue.

I have a friend that kicked for a major college in the early 90's. And I have direct knowledge he was offered money for missing fg's , which he turned down.

If the games have been fixed and you've been betting them, you've benefited from the fix just about as much as you have lost from the fix, based on natural odds and percentages right?
I mean why would books try to get 50/50 action, as we are told, wouldn't they post lines that will get 60%+ on that side. And do they fix the side, the total, the props, the futures, the ml, or all of the above on every game? Or do they pick and choose certain spots at certain times... Not to mention how you go about throwing a team game with so many variables. All this and nary a tell all book buy a disgruntled ex ref/player/owner/water boy (NBA slightly different story).
That and the idea of bribing millionaire's just doesn't wash.

Some ref's or a long snapper/kicker could be on the take but again see my initial points.

Freaky things happen in live sporting events, losing money on them leads you down this road of thinking but taking a step back and thinking it through usually clears things up.

The next win you have, think of all the ways it was fixed for your benefit, makes gambling and winning just so sweet:toast:

sds, i agree with all of your points. i just wanted to clarify, in the situation i mentioned above, vegas was not involved at all. It was people you don't want to be approached by if you know what i mean.
