Cotton Bowl

This has to be the least glamorous of all the major bowls.
Western could move the ball and score almost at will in the second half of the season but they have not faced a defense like Wisconsin. Could be a blow out.
This just in. My bud who is at this game tells calls me and tells me that Wisconsin players are not into this game but West Michigan is all in. Could this be an upset in the making. Nope don't think so but my bud did predict the two US Hockey Olympic victories, the most resent and the 1960 upset win of the mighty Soviet Union team when we were in high school, the beginning of our love affair with gambling. Money for nothing. A beautiful thing.

Wisconsin -8? -110 vs Western Michigan
1.00/$0.91

My buddies who are also at the game says the players are treating this like business as usual. Same week to week focus as rest of season. I would say a lot of the fanbase isnt overly excited for this game....i personally dont understand why.....its the cotton bowl! That may have an affect, i dont know. I guess we'll find out early where their focus is. GL on your play.

While I am very concerned for Western Michigan defensively, I actually think they will move the ball and put points on the board. They won @ Northwestern early in the season who was a decent Big 10 club and they have to be motivated trying for 14-0 season.

Only saw WMU play twice this year. Defense does concern me, but they said the same thing about TCU not being able to handle Wisconsin's OLine in the Rose Bowl. Not sure yet, but looks like I'll be on the Over.

I'm thinking OVER also joefrog...

Reasons I Think WMich will play their hearts out: 1) try for perfect season 14-0 2) playing against a "superior" conference trying to show they belong

Reasons Wisconsin may not be 100% in the gm: 1) playing a "lesser" conference rep 2) in Cotton Bowl with a lot less attention than Mich/Oh St/Penn St

Lean WMich plus pts
Playing total OVER (was 52.5 last night, now 53)

GL ALL
