I too was suckered in Mr. Wilson...............I would much rather it have been a lead-off homer, than to give it up with two outs and two strikes!!!!!!!!!!!::banghead:
1 strike away, we got screwed, because nationals were stealing bases (which is never done in all*game, almost like blitz in NFL all*game.) And Americans played things very straight. In a real game, Jeter would have been shifted around behind second and made that play on junior easy. Americans didn't even shift on bonds, Jr. or fielder, all lefty pull hitters that infield would have been shifted for in real game.
