Although I didn't watch the movie, I am not suprised at the changes in the city names. That's Hollywood for you, nothing new there. I guess there is no racism in the big cities, huh? Racism only occurs in the South where we illiterate, cousin'-screwin', barefooted, 'baccer chewin', gun totin', fiddle playin', rednecks abide.

Whoever wrote that script probably has never been in the South to know what a beautiful place it is. The REAL truth is there are more people around here that would much rather commune with a black person than a Yankee, lol. The Civil War was NOT about Slavery, and many of the same issues are still around.

i agree with you six five.....the revisionists are at it once again....totally inventing history as they would like it to be.....one way to do it, is to make the south look exactly as you put it and make the white guy look like a freak down here.....great going hollywood!!!....people need to start calling out these producers and holding them accountable for the sh*t they try to make up and present as fact.....they should be tried for libel and defamation with their unbridled intentional misrepresentation and skewing of the truth.....
