Please help here....Every year a team is not thrilled to be in a certain bowl and they end up getting spanked.

I will start...I don't think Maryland is all that excited about playing West Virginia after thumping their ass in September.

Have to think that Texas is pretty annoyed - everyone in the world had them pegged for a BCS bowl. Haven't read a ton, but we have a seen in the past Mack Brown's inability to get his team up for big games, and if they are down about this bowl already he's not the guy to light the fire under their ass.

Great call on V-Tech! To go from ranked number 3 in the nation to a bowl on December 26th has got to take its toll.

And how about Nebraska? Don't know if you could call it a motivation factor, but losing your coach and sitting in limbo has got to be tough.

No.6 (AP) - Defeated Miami - in contention for an at large BCS bid -now facing an unranked, 8-4 Clemson.

Sucks for them....

Others:

Texas, Nebraska, Miami (FSU...again?)

dont know if nebr fits we actually made quite an improvement over last years 7-7 squad that lost in the independence bowl expectations were not high so dont see this as a downer certainly the coaching situation adds many ?s

I think NCSU is disappointed in their results for the season, but will be happy to play in the Tangerine Bowl or any other bowl.

Also think Rivers will go off since it is his last game and if TA is fully healthy (if that can ever happen again) I see the pack winning by at least 17.
