Bottom of the 10th, man on first with one out, the Big Skirt at the plate and the Yankees go to the bullpen to get............WEAVER?????????

Are you f*cking kidding me?

That guy is the biggest loser I have ever seen. As I type this, literally, the guy gives up the GW HR........imagine that.

Seriously, how can that guy still have a job? There HAS to be someone in the NY farm system with a better arm than that loser. I would be SHOCKED if that raggedy arm bitch of a pitcher is on the NY roster in any capacity next year.

They should have kept his sorry ass on EBAY.

(PS...yes I had NY tonight :D and that tool ruined a perfect night)

weavers decline still absolutely baffles me.

ironic thing about your post is that weaver probably has one of the BEST arms in the entire yankees system (majors or minors). his stuff is as good as youll see in the league today. trade from detroit to new york really fu/cked up his head apparently.

tough loss man. get em tomorrow. take it easy. late in losses tough to swallow for sure

Gman,

I guess "raggedy arm bitch" was a bad choice of expression. I remember how solid Weaver was for DET, and I know that he actually has a great arm. I'm just AMAZED how bad he has become after being so good before. I guess the spotlight in the big apple can do that to you. I almost feel sorry for the guy......almost. It kind of reminds me of the Mark Wholers (I think it was him)situation in ATL a while back. Kinda sad to watch. I truly think he's done in NY.

I won't sweat the loss too bad b/c I actually had a great night, with the exception of NY. I just hate to see him put in such a situation. I know they're trying to get his confidence back, but damn, some of us have cash on the game...you'd think they'd be more considerate. :D

LOL....:p

I hereby nominate "Noooooooooooo" as Thread Title of the Year! Simple, yet very well put.

Weaver is psychologically shot. Maybe playing with the Yanks is too much pressure.

"I'd like to thank my fellow forum members for this great honor. I couldn't have done it without you, I'd also like to thank Jeff Weaver, who, without his day to day mediocrity, none of this could be possible. :brows:

I'd like to say one more thing to Mr. Weaver if I may..................SUCK IT............you owe me $100 fool. " :D
