Surprised to see the odds on Finch so high. Olesen does have two 2nd place finishes on Tour this season, but has missed the cut in 11 of his other 15 starts this year. Maybe the odds are due to Olesen 4th place finish in this event two years ago, but that was on a different course and he did not play here last year. Finch is much consistent and this is reflected in his h2h stats against Olesen - he leads him 11-4-0 over 72 holes and 10-4-1 over the 1st round.

With a lukewarm putter Wall would have been at least second in this event. He ranks inside top-20 this week in driving distance, driving accuracy, greens in regulation and scrambling - from tee-to-green he has been as good as anyone bar Noren so he has only had two bogeys all week so far. He must putt better tomorrow. Even without putting well, he is already ahead of McGrane, just as he has finished in 9 of 13 common events this year.
