FAU +4.5 over North Texas **
Both teams really disappointed..they were there conf division champs last year but now neither one will be in the finals...NT is bowl eligible already but FAU needs this a little more..NT has one of the top qb's in the country in Fine and FAU has one of the best rb's in the country in Singletary..FAU has won last 2 games beating WKU and FIU..meanwhile NT has hit a brick wall..losing 3 of last 5..last week NT is up 28-0 vs ODU at the half..they lost there halftime lead and lost in the last few seconds..both teams ats records ae bad..NT is 2-3 at home.. FAU is 1-4 ats on the rd...but Kniffen has NT's number..last yr they beat them 69-31 and gained over 800 yds..then beat them again 41-17...but both games were at FAU...NT is home tonite...this was supposed to be the 2 best teams in the conference ..thur nite CBS on national tv...now its 2 second place teams fighting for their conf standings and a bowl game... North Texas in league games lost to UAB and La Tech..they did beat Arkansas way back ...but FAU lost to La Tech,Mid Tenn and Central Fl...think they had the tougher schedule...can North Texas rebound from last weeks ODU loss..they couldn't stop ODU offense..think they will have a tough time stopping Singletarry tonite... FAU must contain NT's Fine...NT's rbs just recently started to play,,because teams will play 8 guys back to stop the NT passing attack...anyway Kniffen has NT's number..last yr won by a combined 110-31..the year before FAU won 69-31..thats 179-79 in 2 years..I'll grab the points then..
