Rice -14.5 over North Texas ******
This is going to be a blowout...the line is way off....back later in the week to explain...think this line goes up later in the week...NT just lost at home by 10 to So Miss last week...Rice beat So Miss away 41-23....NT qb problems again.. the freshman was benched and McNulty is back...these guys can't throw...NT young defense has been exposed...their offense is predicable with no passing game...Rice has jackson at qb who can run...they have Dillard and Davis at rb's...NT defense will have big time problems stopping the Owls..NT has no offense so even an avg Rice defense will stop them....back later on Friday or Sat am...good luck..

Interesting stuff as always. Rice seems to be hitting its stride offensively after a slow start to the year. I had this game on my radar and a buddy of mine in Vegas said he hit this game hard when the line came out. GL buddy!

I got it at -14.5 early in the week and it dropped..thought it would go the other way...
Rice last yr lost to NT but ou tplayed them and out gained game...NT got 2 td's on a fumble and int...Rice stopped Nt's passing attack lyr and that with was a decent NT Qb...NT has it the bottom...So Miss beat them last week by 10 at home..Frosh qb who looked great in 70 pt win over Nickols St is having major problems..they have started 3 qbs and all are ineffective...today McNulty their 3rd string qb starts..these guys can't throw long..NT stats look decent because of Nick St...
Rice is playing good...they have a dual threat qb in Jackson..have two solid rb's in Davis and Dillard...these guys are impressive..watched them in the Army game...they also can catch the ball...Rice has some good wr's...Jackson runs that zone read offense and Jackson does it to perfection....NT has an athletic defense but these guys are young..Rice defense has two big time players at DT and corner...their defense has played better but should be able to stop the NT offense...NT's top player is a wr and its hard for him to get the ball...a lot of short routes...Rice didn't play last week,playing at home and lost a tough game last yr that they dominated the Mean green..revenge is there but they are the much better team..and should win by 3 or more td's...its one of my strongest plays of the year...have it at both lines since I played it early...

Miss St -14.5 over Kenty **
Minny -5 over Illi **
BC -14 over Wake ***
Wake has no qb and can't score...

Nebraska -21 over Rutgers ***
RU got's its welcome to the B-10 last week with Ohio St...Huskers and plus 90,000 might be a little less then 105,000 in Columbus...but with Armstrong at Qb and Abdullah the best rb Rutgers will face all year think the nites are in trouble..Nova is so inconsistent at qb...he's good for a few ints...

Marshall -28 over FAU ****
Cato and co just keep on rolling over everyone...same thing every week.. I take Marshall,see 1st qrt or 2nd qrt and its close...uh ohh....then 2nd half they blow everyone out and cover...same today...esp with ECU dropping a notch the other nite...

Ohio St -14 over Penn St ***
Bucks are for real and so is barrett...Lions have no offense but do play defense..whiteout won't help today..

Kansas St -9.5 over Texas **
Texas playing good D,Swoopes playing better..think its close but walters and co pulls it away.

Clemson -15 over Cuse ***
Tigers defense stop Cuse..cuse qb is in trouble...

Overall
33-31 +20 *'s

best play by far...Rice

They are playing very well in the 2nd half here.

How they covered that was beyond me...2 times 1st and goal and no td...100 yd North Texas kickoff return..those kill you when your already giving up 2 tds.....thank god the North texas qb can't throw because Carlos had beaten his Rice defender about 5 times,and those were all bombs....I'll take it but nothing to write home about...but at least I made a little money...thanks guys
