First of all as a OSU fan I will not be playing this game. Every time I have any kind of money near OSU I end up on the losing end. Hence the Penn State loss and losing the Illinois/OSU over last week and the last five years of misfortune. When will I learn! This weeks line is way off Northwestern is going to give us a battle. We'll win but only by single digit and did line makers forget last season all ready. Northwestern has a four-year starter at QB and an experienced QB has always given us problems in the past. Northwestern is going to spread our defense out and attack our young corners. This is awesome a veteran offensive line with a true-frosh Ohio's Mr. Football in the backfield. Now our defense is going to play tough but our QB is awful. All of Troy Smith's stats are due to the talent of our WRs. If you have seem him play you would agree. He over throws WRs constantly and he locks on to WR and doesn't check off to others that are usually wide open. He doesn't know how to stay in the pocket and usually ends up running after his primary WR is covered. He also turns the ball over a lot with either bad throws trying to force the ball in double or sometimes triple coverage or fumbles. The guy also has no touch on the ball, he throws a five yard slant as hard as he can which make a harder catch for the wide-out. This guy is a curse on Ohio State. He just will never be the kind of QB needs behind the center. Its just amazing that Ohio States program which is somewhat held in high regard cannot develop a QB. Maybe we need to reevaluate our recruiting at that position. What really really pisses me off is that the media here in Columbus praise this dip shit. Its like the media and the fans are on completely opposite sides of the fence. Maybe the media is afraid of Tressel or afraid that he might leave. Maybe they just don't want to go against Tressel, who has been referred to as God by some here in Columbus after bringing home the National Championship. Now Tressel is a whole other ball of wax, basically you can't always win with field goals. Bottom line with Northwestern experience and OSU's lack of talent at QB, Northwestern covers the points but OSU wins by single digits.
