After working for 18 years as Bobby Bowden?s assistant, Chuck Amato is better qualified to face a Florida State football team than any other coach in the country and has gone 3-3 against his former boss since becoming the Wolfpack coach in 2000. This year he gets to take a shot at home against the Noles who field a team that is not up to the usual standard that we have come to expect of the school from Tallahassee. Florida State is averaging just 314 yards of offense per game and has no business laying this kind of chalk.
The Seminoles are banged up on the offensive line and that is bad news considering that they are averaging only 109 yards per game thus far and on defense, the Noles have been dropping like flies. Three significant players in DT Griffin, LB Ball and S Houllis are out for the season with injuries and CB Carter will miss this one with a hamstring injury.
