Notre Dame just jumped 1.5... what gives?

Is the announcement of Rees as the starter worth that big of jump in the number? 15.5 now. I love the Irish but I dont think they can give anyone 15.5

They announce th starting qb wil be benched for clashing with a mia player the the line jumps even bigger....I thought that would make it go the other way..wtf? Weird things goin on...anyone know something...or just late steam play?
