I'm with ya in a lot of ways. I vote with my remote control, and wallet, where I can.
Don't visit webpages that talk about reality TV, effuse over all things celebrity etc.

I try to watch scripted dramatic television over gossip. I watch live sporting events, but try to avoid the over dramatized pre-game and post-game shows.

The great thing about the internet and the media of today is there is something for everyone. I for one know I am going to hate most mainstream entertainment. ESPN included.

I don't see where he is suffering, causing suffering or anything of the sort.

Now hedge, you on the other hand most certainly have a mental disorder.

You're ill equipped to deal with life and it's challenges responsibly. You create suffering on a daily basis.

You have no contact ever with Jenner, yet you hate on him and accuse him of having a disorder when not a fucking thing he or she has done in his or her life has any effect on yours. I don't hate ESPN for giving her an espy, nor do I care. I don't think society truly understands transgendered or even the gay community as a whole. I don't believe reporters or media when they say "she's so courageous" for coming out like this. Not for a second, because if they were, they wouldn't make hollow statements about how good she looks or how old she is when she did it blah blah blah. It's all bullshit.
If you're someone that is impressed with someone else's courage or bravery then your interested in their act or story. I think the act itself, setting himself up for public scrutiny and such, is undoubtedly courageous. If he truly did this out in the open because he wanted to help others younger then him to not feel ostracism then it was a very noble act. I think that remains to be seen though. If he continues to advocate and be an activist for the LGBT community than I would not hesitate to call him courageous.
At this point there are individuals in this site I believe to be far more courageous. Handicapper, Imfeklhr, Eddie Haskell, Rolltide, Old School are the ones that come to mind straight away. Each one of them displays a level of courage daily that most can't ever match
