I see the Phila momentum building and indeed based on the last four weeks performances the score forecasting system I use shows Phila an approximate 27-6 victor. But before people start yelling to throw all kinds of stuff down on 'em with total reckless abandon,I'd like to add a cautionary note. The ONLY two games the NYG have covered this year have been as a road dog on turf,ie the position that they occupy tonight.(They opened as a dog vs dallas though they didn't close that way.Whats important to me in grading the games is that its vs the opening line, thus for example yesterdays Jacks/Houston game gets graded by me as an under since my opening total for that game was 40-.It was bet down to the 38 range in the first day of betting by under money which was a couple of points too far as it turned out.)Back to the Giants, both the games on turf have gone over too. Some teams develope a road pattern on a particular road surface and it pays dividends to track this scrupulously all season.Sometimes the pattern developes at home.Since the Giants have no other covers so far this year,I tend to believe that this pattern of covering as a road dog and over on turf will continue tonight. The 'Gints were 22 for 27 with 290+ yds through the air vs St.Louis and 18/27 for 212 yds passing vs Dallas with 100 yds rushing each game. That indicates to me that they'll play better than all those statistics from the last four weeks show that they will tonight on offense.Eagles extremely high level of focus from last week may lead to a little fuzziness this one.Nyg+7 is the way I see it though I'll agree that the numbers don't seem to add up that way(If it does end up around 27-6 I'll be mighty sad).Good luck either way.
