Anyone knows how much does the humidified ball has reduced HRs ths year at Colorado, i find this very important since the Yankees are a home run team and i think there is some value playing the rockies if the homeruns arent easier to hit there anymore.

It definitely has hurt the HRs at Coors. The Rockies are still hitting .308 at home but the avg # of runs per game is down by around 3.5 a game. I guarantee you they will be using the Humidor balls for the Yankee series. Looks like a number of solid reasons to fade them; first time playing in Denver, getting adjusted to the altitude, and coming off the big series vs the Mets. I just checked the weather there and with the fires raging there is a smoke advisory. It should be interesting to see how that affects play. Considering everything, I'll either pass or take Colo. No way could I lay -170 on the road under these circumstances.
