Any thoughts on this games total? It seems when it is a hot and HUMID day, the ball travels well in da Bronx, as recently evidenced v. Cle on Wed. It would seem to me that with both pitchers combined ERA of just over 12, a total of 10 seems a bit too low. Of course Rupe can pitch a gem like Trachsel did last night in Atl and negate both the above facts. Anyone?

What most scares me about over here is Lilly's last 3 starts, where he has an ERA below 2. Rupe's overall and recent numbers point toward over, but Lilly's recent form scares me enough to stay away.

I'd say over is the play here, though, if you are going to play it, as much as anything because Tampa's recent warm bats should do something to negate Lilly's recent excellence.
