Miami has arguably the best running back in the league, yet they score only 13 points at home against the hapless Pats. They deserve to lose! Fiedler is another Trent Dilfer, except that Miami's defense isn't quite good enough to win games outright like Baltimore's was. They get another chance if he doesn't throw an interception at the end.
LMAO, yeah the Pats are "hapless". They just happened to luck their way into a 5-2 record. Uh huh.
Give Fiedler a break. Belichik is probably the best defensive mind in the game today. Yeah, they've given up alot of points but half of their defensive starters have been out (Law,Colvin,Washingtom,McGinest,Johnson,Vrabel). Lately though, a lot of the new kids have been stepping up and contributing (Asante Samuel, Dan Klecko) and BB deserves credit for doing the job he's done despite all the injuries.
If you want to blame someone for the loss blame Mare. He should have made the 2nd FG.
Problem is Wanstedt (sp). His ususal conservative play at the end of a game. 3rd and long end of the game and he runs Ricky instead of trying a pass or something to get closer or 1st down.
You know Mare's having problems kicking in the infiled dirt and there's still plenty of time left on the clock, meaning Pats could come back and at least tie it with a few decent plays. Too much reliance on that defense.
