Night, I wouldn't put a whole lot of faith into the previous years numbers. All of those were under Coach Dave Odom, who played a slowdown game, under Prosser Wake is a different team and trying to push the ball.

Obviously, that was one of the most pathetic calls ever made. I did rely on more than the past 5 years results, but that was the one fact that was most concise and to the point. I was counting on the fact that Fla St. would realize that possessions must be kept to a minimum if they were to have a chance. Instead, they happily agreed to run and gun. Trading quick shots was more fun than playing defense. FG% numbers were ridiculous. Wake has had slower games:
Syracuse 74 Wake Forest 67
Fresno St 61 Wake Forest 62

But, these were on the road, in the very beginning of the season, against quality teams and where the home team tends to have more of an infuence on pace of game.

Fla St. had only two games go over 143.5 this year. In those games, Fla. St. scored more than i thought they would in this one.

I assumed the FSU strategy would be to slow it down. They didn't. For that, I sincerly apologize to anyone who actually might have put stock in this advice. I can only promise I will try to do better. Again, sorry.
