While this discussion may be with myself...I am looking for input.

1) Have not found any A's backers only CWS backers on 4 forums.

2) Kazmir has imploded his last 3 starts with a 13.51 era and a career 5.69 era vs CWS.

**Yet SALE is only -127*** ?

3) Sale for the Sox has a 2.89 era vs Oakland and has won 10 of 14 at home with a 2.56 era. In his last 3 starts he has a solid 1.89 era.

***Yet SALE is only -127*** ?

4) Oakland is 2-13 on the road when the total is 7 or less as they are 2-11 as a road dog from +100 to +125.

***So let me ask again how is SALE only -127*** ?

On of Top teams in baseball record wise, and kazmir who has been dominant much of year on the bump.....

Doesn't suprise me that they aren't +150???

Chisox been bad lately and playing dominant team with top arm......I think that's a fair price for both sides...

Just my opinion but I think over is the best route.....8-6 final

T-Fresh, I like you, but I have almost never agreed with the way you think lines should be priced.

I think if anything this line is high. Like addict mentioned above, What the hell price do you think they could lay on team who is 16 games behind one of the faves to win it all who also, by the way, have a pitcher with a 3.4 ERA on the mound?

You can throw out all the random stats/trends you want - in NO world should the White Sox be a favorite of over 130 here.

I don't know what will happen today, but once again, as far as your reasoning - IMO, Sale being "only" a 127 fave is not even a remotely accurate way of determining a side in this game.

Oakland is something like

Since starting an MLB-best 72-44, A's just 9-20 since (tied for worst in MLB in that span).

Not that the Sox are any great shakes either.

Good game to pass.

if this is a 1-1 or 2-2 or even cws 3-2 game going into late innings and sale runs up pitch count that bullpen needs to make appearance... what side would you rather have then? cws is spotty, at best, along with losing some hitters (de aza etc) which limits the line -in my mind- to climb over anything of -140. granted kazmir has struggled, but even still, for me is a OAK or no play here. Tink i agree with everything you said....Oakland or nothing if you have to play...however i'm about as low volume as you can get.............If i don't think a game is a sure thing i don't play....sometimes a buck or two for action but i do this as an occupation and not a hobby.....da bills gotta be paid and every loss means i have to come up with 2 wins to be ahead...generally speaking ...

Kaz in my opinion is not well enough to pitch. Oakland has already melted down. If betting against a team that is playing unbelievable bad is a bad bet Guilty as charged

TF, good question.

You have to think like a bookie on this one? Nah!!

A's have been brutal on the road since the ASG and Kaz is tired. But do you really think that Vegas is going to make Sale a bigger fav than that so that the A's are larger dogs? They have to get action on both sides to make their vig/cash yanno? But when I looked at the line when it came out last night I was like, WOW, A'S are a dog, not surprising, I had capped it as a pick line.

Sox are playing more call ups now and bench warmers since they got rid of Dunn and DeAza (Orioles sure are thanking Hahn & Kenny Wms for that one) and their bullpen has been exhausted the last few games, meaning, they've been used often, Cueto and Petricka for two of them, so me thinks today if A's get to Sale in 7th, Sox pen comes in and implodes.

GL on your play whatever it is today!!

Good stuff maynard!

Didn't have a chance to opine

Sale on pitch count, Kazmir unhittable

That is why line was low. Also because I was on white sox
